    3. Wolfe County News - April 22, 1959 MACK ROSE, 52 PASSES SUNDAY Malcolm H. (Mack) Rose, 52 died Sunday April 19, at 7:10 p.m. in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington after a three day illness. He was a member of the Methodist church, Cox Lodge No 404 F. A.M. Campton, Shriners, Lexington; and Scotish & Ancient Rites, Covington. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served four years in the U.S. Navy with a rating of seaman second class. He was a chariman of local Board No. 121 and county treasurer. He owned and operated Rose's Department Store and Rose's Hotel in Campton, where he and his wife have been in business since 1935. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Corine Rose, Campton, and one son, James Edward, a sophomore at Eastern State College at Richmond; three brothers, E.C. Rose, Pebworth, Ky., Sam Rose, Campton, and Green Rose, Jackson. Funeral services were conducted at the Campton Methodist Church Tuesday, April 21 with Rev. Sewell Woodward, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Richmond Cemetery at RIchmond, Ky., with Masonic rites at the graveside. B.F. Porter & Son had charge of all arrangements. Pallbearers were Hendrix Allen, James Allen, Jr., Ralph Lockard, Omer Catron, Steve Rose, Charlie Murphy, Corbett Pelfrey and Taylor Booth. Carole
