Wolfe County News - March 1963 BETHANY WOMAN DIES MARCH 17TH Sally Bell Lockard, 69, died at the University Hospital in Lexington Sunday, March 17. She was a member of the Christian Church and resided at Bethany. She is survived by her husband, Hayden Lockard, Bethany, and three sons, Fred Lockard of Middletown, Ohio, Pryse of Indianapolis, Ind., and Seldon of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Kelly Haddix of Bethany and Logan Haddix of Rhinelander, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Pence of Rhinelander, Wis., Mrs. Pruda Allen of Campton, Mrs. Cora Brewer of Middletown, O., and Mrs. Josie Tyra of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren. Funeral service March 19 at one p.m. in the Hollonsville Chapel, Rev. Oney Banks officiating. Burial in the Pence Cemetery at Bethany under direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.
