    3. Wolfe County News - June 12, 1957 LEEBURN ALLEN DIED FRIDAY AT AGE OF 69 Leeburn Allen, age 69, died Friday, June 7 in Veterans Hospital, Lexington. He was a member of the Christian Church and had served as county Attorney in Wolfe County for two terms and practiced law in the county 45 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mazie Allen, Campton; two foster daughters, Mrs. Martha Rose, Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Elizabeth Carroll, Campton; two sisters; Mrs. Creasy Boothe; Mt. Holy, Ohio; and Mrs. Mildred McIntosh, Middletown, Ohio, and three brothers: R.T. Allen, Campton, Seebern Allen, New Smynra, Fla., and William Allen, Dayton, Ohio. Four foster grandchildren: Mrs. Rita Farmer, Chicago; Mrs. Lela Clay Centers, and Ronnie Rose both of Campton and Pvt. Donald Rose of the U.S. Army. Funeral services were conducted at the Campton Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with Rev. T. W. Farmer of Lexington officating. Burial was in Evans Cemetery in charge of Hearne Funeral Home. Pall bearers were Orville, Taylor and Floyd Booth, Clifton Miller, RIchard Brown and Fred Carroll. Carole
