Wolfe County News - May 24, 1961 CHAPMAN FUNERAL HELD AT ROGERS Melvin Chapman of Cincinnati died last Saturday, May 6, of a stroke. Mr. Chapman has been in ill health for many years. He was the son of the late George and Eliza Spencer Chapman Price. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nannie Bryant Chapman; two children, Willis and Beatrice Chapman and several grandchildren; one brother, Courtney Chapman; three sisters, Mary, Clarie and Golden and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Rogers Church of God by the Rev. Verne Kirby and Hearne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Bryant cemetery in Wolfe County. Carole
