Wolfe County News - Jan. 11, 1961 BRACK BOOTHE, 67 WAR I VET, DIES Brack D. Boothe, 67 in V Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, Jan. 2. He ws born on June 25, 1893 in Wolfe County son of Rhodia and Jim Boothe. He was a member of the First Church of God and a Veteran of World War I. Survivors are his wife, Flossie Lumpkins Boothe, Middletown, Ohio; two brothers, Mort Boothe of Campton and Thomas Boothe, Amelia, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Mazie Allen of Campton. Funeral services were held at the Church of God, Campton with Rev. Walter Strong officiating. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery in charge of Shackelford and Cox Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the Brack Booth funeral were: Taylor Booth, Orville Booth, Marvin Boothe, Burlin Cable, George Cox, and Stanley Lumpkins. Mr. Boothe's funeral was on his 30th wedding anniversary.
