Wolfe County News - Feb. 20, 1957 FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MRS. CHAMBERS Victoria B. Chambers; age 86, died Thursday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of her son, Alex Chambers at Lacy Creek. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church at Athol. Other survivors include two sons, Ben B. Chambers, Athol, and William Chambers, Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca White, Athol, and Rilda Patrick, Cincinnati, O., five sisters; Mrs. James Duff, Antigo, Wis.; Mrs. Oma Stamper, Sandpedro, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Eversole, Jackson, Mrs. Frances Merland, Otter Lake, Mich.; Mrs. Lilly Johnson, Rochester, Mich. and one brother, H.C. Johnson, Beattyville, 35 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lacy Creek Church with the Rev. Jonnie Dalton and the Rev. Charlie Rose officiating. Burial was in the Goodman Cemetery, Pine Ridge, with the B.F. Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge. Carole
