    3. Wolfe County News - April 21, 1967 J. BRUCE ROSE OF HELECHAWA DIES APRIL 16 J. Bruce Rose, 82, of Helechawa, a retired farmer and father of two West Liberty businessmen died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, April 16 at his home after an illness of 14 days. He was a member of Daysboro Christian Church and Lee City Masonic Lodge. Born at Lee City April 17, 1884, he was the son of W.C. Rose and Rebecca May Rose. He is survived by his wife, Malvery Rose of Helechawa; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde C. Allen, Lexington, Mrs. Cecil Gullett, Campton and Mrs. Betty Bruce Rose at home; two sons Eugene Rose and Fred Rose, both of West Liberty and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Louraine Williams of Louisville, one brother, South Rose of Beattyville, 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Daysboro Christian Church by Rev. Willie Taylor and Buford Cobb. Burial in the Hazel Green Cemetery. Herald and Stewart Funeral Home was in charge. Carole
