Wolfe County News - June 14, 1968 WOLFE NATIVE DIES IN OHIO Mrs. Mary Lou Roberts, 83, died in Middletown (Ohio) Hospital late Sunday afternoon after a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and of Eve Chaper No. 272, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors are two sons, Orville Roberts, Vine Grove, and James B. Roberts, Middletown, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Anna McCloud, with whom she lived in Middletown; Mrs. Mabel Edwards, Middletown; Mrs. Ruth Campbell, Springboro, Ohio and Mrs. Bertie Cundiff, Hammond, Ind.; two stepsons, Elmer Roberts, Campton, and C.E. Roberts, Middletown, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James Newkirk, Middletown, Ohio; a brother, Taylor Cable, Campton, and a sister, Mrs. Pearlie Russell, Campton. Services were conducted in the Campton Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Ballard Johnson. Burial was in the Roberts Cemetery, Mullins Point, Shackelford Funeral Home in charge. Carole
