Wolfe County News - Feb. 28, 1962 ELMER STAMPER DIES THURSDAY Elmer Stamper, 62, of Trent, died Thursday at Veterans' Hospital at Cincinnati. He was a native of Wolfe County. Survivors include his father, Mort Stamper, Trent, four brothers, Troy Stamper, Dayton, Ohio, Andrew Stamper, Middletown, O., Fred Stamper, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kelly Stamper, Clay City, and three sisters, Mrs. Tressie Peck, Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Della Ed______, Newport and May Faulkner, Clay City. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Lower Laurel Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnny Dalton and Rev. Willie Taylor. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery with the B.F.
