    3. Wolfe County News - Dec. 1, 1972 MRS. MOORE, 76 DIES NOV. 18TH Mrs. Betty Elkins Moore, 76 died Saturday, Nov. 18 at St. Clair Medical Center Morehead, where she had undergone surgery. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Hour of Harvest Church, Bethany. Survivors are her husband, Calvin Moore; one son, Eugene Elkins, Middletown, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Rose, Dayton, Ohio and Mrs. Christine Abudo, San Diego, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dewey and John Kidd, two sisters Mrs. Hurley Elkins and Mrs. Carrie Childers, all of Wolfe County. Funeral services were held at the Hour of Harvest Church by Rev. Doyle Thomas and Rev. Herman Banks. Burial was in the family cemetery on Whetstone Creek.
