Wolfe County News - April 1963 CAMPTON MAN DIES AT 82 John Morton Townsend, 82, Campton, died en route to a Leington Hospital, April 5. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Emma Townsend, one son, Calvin, Big Clifty; three dauaghters, Mrs. Edith Hart, Big Clifty, Mrs. Rowena Ward, Big Clifty and Mrs. Leona Miller, White Miles; one brother, T.S. Townsend, Campton; two sisters, Mrs. Lula RIchardson, Wiley, Texas and Mrs. Cora Hale, Kingsport, Tenn., 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The body was removed from the Porter Funeral Home to the Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkston, Grayson County, Ky. Carole
