Wolfe County News - April 2, 1958 FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR MR. MANNING Thomas J. Manning, 72, died of a heart attack, Tuesday March 25, at his home in Campton. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Manning, Campton, two sons, Ezra Manning, Campton and Robert Manning, Novi, Mich., seven daughters, Mrs. Lula Profitt, Novi, Mich; Mrs. Frona Woodson, Winchester, KY., Mrs. Viola Brewer and Mrs. Golden Lee, both of Campton; Mrs. Irene Lawson, Stanton, Mrs. Oma Charrous, Wellington, Kansas and Mrs. Daisy Clemons, Irvine, KY., one sister, Mrs. Alva Shockey, Hazel Green, 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Campton Baptist Church at ten a.m. Thursday; March 27, with Rev. James Pinkey, Jr., officiating. Burial was in the Brewer cemetery on Trace Fork, of Stillwater under the direction of B.F. Porter & Son Funeral Home. Carole
