Camden, Ohio - Mrs. Hazel V. Creech, 96, of Ohio 725, died at 11:05 pm on Wednesday, Mar. 27, 1996 at the Willow Knoll Nursing Center. She was born in Campton, Ky., on Sept. 28, 1899, the oldest of seven children of William Newton Allen and Sarah (Miller) Allen. Mrs. Creech was a charter member of the Grace Baptist Church. She formerly worked at the P. Lorillard Co., She is survived by five daughters, Bessie Weimer of Franklin, Grace Salley of Franklin, Madge Theiss of Middletown, LaVerne Trimble of Camden and Geneva June Back of Franklin; 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and a brother Marvin Allen of Campton. She was preceded in death by her husband Hobart Creech in 1977. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown with the Rev. Howard Sears officiating.
