    3. Wolfe County News - Dec. 30, 1959 BURNS FATAL TO WM. H. DEAN, 87 William Hilton Dean, 87, a retired school teacher, died at the Good Samaritan Hosptial, Lexington, Dec. 25, from burns he received at his home near Campton last month. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Thrasher Dean, Landsaw, and two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Dean Kash and Mrs. Betty Rose, both of Middletown, Ohio; a step-son, Leonard Combs, Landsaw; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Willa Tyra, Campton rural, two brothers, Jospeh Dean, Winchester, VA., and James Dean, Richmond, Va., two half brothers, Robert Dolphin, Indianapolis, Ind., and Clinton Dolphin, Richmond, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Buskirk, Olney, Ill.; a half sister, Mrs. Ida Gouser, Indianapolis. Services were conducted at the Rosedale Baptist Church at Landsaw Dec. 27 with Rev. James R. Pinkley, Jr., and Rev. John Dalton officiating. Burial was in the Ottis Kash Cemetery at Landsaw with B.F. Porter & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole

    3. Thank you for this death notice. The families researching this Dean family were trying to place Thrasher Dean in the right line and here it confirms he is the son of William Hilton Dean.
