Candis moved to Middletown which is where my great grandmother lived. Her name was Nettie (Pelfrey) Hale. She had a daughter out of wedlock named Anna Marie-my grandma. As for Candis' mother I haven't found out yet. The story goes that Candis's real name was Kansas and she had a sister named something like Missouri Bell.
