Tyra 65, Wolfe County farmer died at 7 o'clock in the Clark County Hospital, Winchester ater a short illness. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mrs. Katherine Tyra, six daughters, Mrs. Anna Miller, Detroit, Mich; Mrs. Ada Hollon, Pine Ridge and Maybell, Della, Naomi and Thelma Tyra, all at home. Five sons, Arthur Tyra, Cross Plains, Ind, Herbert Tyra, Baptist, Kentucky, Ova Tyra, Lexington, Edgar Tyra, Hollonville, and Roy Tyra at home. Also two sisters, Mrs. Martha Brewer, Hollonville, KY and Mrs. Bell Kidd of Michigan, a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Rev. John Dalton and Rev. Henry Hall conducted the funeral service and burial was in the Tyra cemetery at Hollonville, Tuesday with Hearne Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. and Mrs. Tyra had 15 children, 13 of which lived to be grown. Arnold ws killed in WW II, Osa died a few months after being released from Service in WW II. Carole
