Wolfe County News - April 1956 LENGTHY ILLNESS PROVES FATAL TO COURTNEY ROSE Courtney Rose, 56, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 23 after an illness of several months. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer and merchant. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Wells Rose, Pine Ridge, and ten children, four boys, Albert Rose, Detroit, Mich, Vernon and Willard at home and Lawrence, Pine Ridge, six daughters, Mrs. Elsie Wilson, Gilmore, Mrs. Bonnie Dunn, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Rosie Francis Dunn, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Wilma Little, Kentucky, and Mrs. Reva Adkins, Dayton, Ohio and Linda, 10 at home. Also thirteen grandchildren and one brother, Willie Rose, Stillwater and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stamper, Winchester and Mrs. Mary Clark, Campton. Funeral arrangements have not been completed at this time. Carole
