Wolfe County News - Sept. 28, 1955 HEART ATTACK PROVES FATAL TO LLOYD LYKINS Lloyd Lykins, 49, died of a heart attack on August 28, 1955 near Salyersville. He was the son of the late Henry and Gay Asbury Lykins of Campton. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church where he died while attending the morning service. He is survived by his wife, Anna Whitaker Lykins and one son, Lowell Lykins of Salyersville, Three sisters, Corda Hollon of Clay City; Clara Beatty, Bethel and Alda Howard, Salyersville. Four brothers; Ollie Lykins, Salyersville; Dorsie Lykins, Bethel, Ohio, Darlie Lykins, North Kenova, Ohio; and Harvey Lykins, North Kenova, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Burial was in the Bradley Cemetery near Salyersville. Pallbearers were nephews, Wilson Hollon, Carl Beatty, Arthur Lykins, Abner Lykins, Woodford Lykins and John Howard. Carole
