Wolfe County News - Dec. 1955 CARL BREWER DIED SATURDAY AT LEXINGTON Funeral services were conducted in the Providence Baptist Church at Laurel Saturday morning, Dec. 3 at 10 for Carl Brewer, 58, who died in a Lexington hospital, Wednesday night, Nov. 30. He was the son of the late Millard and Mary Alice Brewer of Trent, KY. Rev. Willie Taylor and Rev. General Dalton officated at the funeral which was in charge of Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty. Burial was in the Trent Cemetery. Survivors include, four sons, Chalmer, Dayton, Ohio; Densmore, Middletown, Ohio; Rexford, Winchester and Ralph, Carter Caves, Kentucky. Also seven grandchildren. Three brothers; Boyd and Bufford both of Trent and Carmie of Daysboro; three sisters; Mrs. Oma Roberson, Woodsbend, Mrs. Thelma Bailey, Ezel and Mrs. Hazel Patrick, Helechawa. Mr. Brewer had been a member of the Providence Baptist Church for many years and at one time served as its pastor. He was also a mason and his funeral was in cahrge of the Masons. He had been in business at Hazel Green where he opereated a department store for several years. Carole
