Wolfe County News - July 1956 CORONER SAYS WILSON DEATH WAS ACCIDENT Wolfe County Coroner Steve Brewer says that it now appears that the death Wednesday, July 4th of Russell Wilson, 23, at his home at Gilmore, was an accident. Wilson died of a bullett wound. There were no witnesses to the shooting. Wilson is survived by his parents, Ova and Roxie Little Wilson; five brothers, Shirley, Coy, Deweese, Ralph and E.C. Wilson; six sisters, Misses Jewell, Lena, Bernice, Thelma, Jean and Janet Wilson and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Little of Gilmore. The paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Wilson, are deceased. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Daysboro Church by the Rev. Willie Taylor. Burial was in the Gibbs Cemetery on Gilmore. Carole
