Wolfe County News - Nov. 7, 1956 ROBERT L. TAYLOR SERVING IN EUROPE Pfc. Robert L. Taylor, son of Mrs. Nora E. Allen, Campton, recently arrived in Germany and is now a member of the 2nd Armored Division. Taylor, a medical aidman in the 82nd Reconnaissance Battalion, entered the Army in January 1951 and completed basic training at Fort Knox. The 23 year old solider attended Wolfe County High School. -- April 14, 1954 Pfc. Carl A. Fallen Serving in Korea 2d Div., Korea - - Pfc. Carl A. Fallen, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fallen, Helechawa, Ky., was recently transferred to the 2d Infantry Division in Korea. Fallen had been serving with the 45th Infantry Division which is being returned to the U.S. He will finish his Korean.. tour of duty with the 2d Division, now training to maintain combat efficiency. Fallen entered the Army in March, 1953, and completed basic training at Camp Breckenridge, Ky. --- March 21, 1956 DRAKE YOUTHS ON DUTY WITH U.S. ARMY UNITS Pvt. Ralph Drake has sailed for France departing this country on January 20. He is the 19 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Drake of Campton. He took basic training at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Then was sent to Ft. Lee, Virginia. He received diplomas from each phase of his training and was also graduated from Wolfe County High School in May of last year making three diplomas which he received in the same year. -- Pvt. Lester Drake is the 17 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Drake. He was inducted into the Army in January 1956. He is taking his basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missiouri. He was graduated from Wolfe County High School in May 1955. He would like to hear from his friends in Wolfe County. -- Carole
