Wolfe County News - Dec. 19, 1951 MARY PERKINS WOLFE NATIVE, GOES TO REWARD Mrs. Mary Perkins, age 79 was born May 1, 1872 at Lee City, KY d/o W.S. and Jane Lindon Maddox. She was united in marriage to Larkin Alexander Perkins on December, 28, 1888. To this uinon were born eight children, Elvin of Austin, Ind; Everett of Mansfield, Ohio; Henry, deceased, Lucinda Oditt, Midland, Ohio; Jane Back, Belknap, Ky.: Angeline McClure, deceased, Frances Oditt, Middltown, Ohio, Mabel Crase, Belknap, Ky. She also reared four of her grandchildren, Arlie, Luna, Ruby and Ethel McClure. She departed this life on December 12, 1951 at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was a member of the Church of God for about 63 years. She leaves besides her children, 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted at the Church of God, Belknap with Rev. Forest Bailey, pastor officiating and Alango Craft assisting, on December 15, 1951. Active pall bearers were 8 grandsons, Arlie McClure, Sam, Lafayette, Carlos, and Donald Oditt, Thomas Perkins and Carman Crase. Burial followed in the Belknap cemetery under the direction of Hearne Funeral Home, Campton. Carole
