    3. Wolfe County News - Dec. 1948 LEONARD STAMPER DIED IN MORGAN J. Leonard Stamper, a prominent farmer of Morgan County, born in 1889, passed away December 2, 1948, at the age of 59. He died of a heart attack in the Good Samaritan hospital in Lexington. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian Church at Ezel at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4. by Dr. Gabriel Banks of Morehead. Burial followed in the Ezel cemetery and was in charge of Potter and Co., Funeral Home at West Liberty. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Golden Stamper, two small daughters and a married daughter, Mrs. Pauline McKenzie, of Campton and one son, Woodroe Stamper, of Grassy Creek. Also one brother, Will Stamper, of Grassy Creek. Pallbearers for the funeral were Harold Rose, Walter Bach, Glen Oldfield, C.F. Cecil, Jr., Ova Amyx, Cummings Fugate, Arthur Rose and Forrest Williams. Carole
