    3. Wolfe County News - Aug. 1952 Mr. and Mrs. Seldon Taulbee of Belknap have received information that their son Seldon L. Taublee, 19 has arrived at Camp Brackinridge, Ky for training with the 101st. Airborne Division. -- Dec. 28, 1955 Risner Returns Sgt. James Emory Risner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Risner, Rosefork, Wolfe County, has returned to his base in Colorado Springs, Colo. after a two-month maneuver in Alaska. Sgt. Risner will be dischared in January, but plans to re-enlist and make the Army his career. He is a veteran of 10 years Army service. March 7, 1956 DAVIS TO SAIL FOR ARMY DUTY IN GERMANY Fort Devens, Mass - Army Pvt. Talmadge L. Davis, whose wife, Dixie, lives in Hazel Green, is scheduled to leave the U.S. for Germany late in March as part of Operation Gyroscope, the Army's unit rotation plan. Private Davis' unit, the 15th Signal Battalion, now stationed at Fort Devens, Mass, is replacing the 40th Signal Battalion in Europe. A pole lineman in the battallion's Company C., Davis entered the Army last September. His parents, Ova and Maudie Davis live in Lee City. Carole
