    3. Wolfe County News - Feb. 15, 1956 DEATH CLAIMS ALICE PERRY, 82 AT PINE RIDGE Mrs. Alice Perry, 82 died Tuesday evening, February 7, at her home at Pine Ridge, after a long illness. She was the widow of the late William Perry, who preceded her in death three years. Survivors are three sons, Frank and Nick, Pine Ridge, Jim of Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. Larlie Chenault, Detroit, Mich, Mrs. Lucy Rebhole of Glendale, Ohio; four brothers, Tom Handy, Long Ridge, Quille Handy, Pomeryton and Mrs. Rosa Weatherington, Tennessee, 44 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at her home Thursday, February 9 by Rev. John F. Powell and Rev. Valentine Brewer. Burial was in the Gooden Cemetery at Pine Ridge. "Aunt Alice," as she was lovingly called by all who knew her was a devoted wife and mother and had been a Christian for many years. She will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends. Carole
