Wolfe County News - June 1956 DRAKE RITES HELD SUNDAY AT ZOE CHURCH Francis Drake, 85, died Friday, May 25th at his home on Beattyville Road, in Wolfe County. He was a retired farmer and merchant. His wife preceded him in death eight months ago. He is survived by one son, Jesse Drake, Middletown, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Nannie Gentry, Beattyville; two brothers, Granville Drake, Campton and Henry Drake, Tallega. Services were conducted at the First Church of God, Zoe, on Sunday afternoon at two p.m. with Rev. Willard Brewer and Rev. E.C. Hutchhinson officiating. Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery, Beattyville, under the direction of B.F. Porter and son Funeral Home. Carole
