HAYES Funeral services for Thomas Hayes, 86 were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7 at the Fincastle Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. One Banks. Mr. Hayes the son of the late Thomas and Mary Crawford Hayes, was born in Wolfe County, April 18, 1870 and died at his home in Lee County, February 6, after one week illness. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Nannie Hayes, one brother, Jerry Hayes of St. Helens, one sister, Mrs. Amanda Gentry of St. Helens. Burial was in the Kincaid Cemetery at Fincastle, with King Justice Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole Note: Headline typed as written
