CARROLL DIES IN OHIO AT AGE OF 78 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Catherine Carroll, 78, who died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, Ohio, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hearne Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James R. Pinkley, Jr. Burial was in the Carroll Cemetery, Big Andy, Wolfe County. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Shoemaker and Mrs. Lillian Sparks, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Beulah Alexander, Middletown, Ohio; five step-daughters, Mrs. George Shoemaker, Beattyville; Mrs. Della Mullendorfe, Middletown; Mrs. Susetta Akers, Gurnee, Ill.: Mrs. Mildred Davis, Mt. Sterling, and Mrs. Nellie Napier, Slade; a son, Ernest C. Profitt, Dayton, Ohio; two step-sons, William Carroll, Beattyville, and Charles Carroll, Pine Ridge; a brother, Thomas Gentry, Stanton, and nine grandchildren. Carole
