Wolfe County News - Feb. 6, 1957 ACCIDENT FATAL AT HARLAN TO HENRY ROGERS Henry Rogers, 58 died Tuesday, Jan. 22 in the Harlan County Hospital of injuries received in a taxi accident on January 18th. He was an electrician and former Wolfe Countian. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Aleck McIntyre, Hazard; Mrs. Winnona Lowe and Mrs. Howard Shook, both of Covington; Bishop P. Rogers, Alexandria, VA; Carl E. Rogers, Richmond; Horton Rogers, St. Louis, MO.; and R.B. Rogers, Franklin, Ohio. Two sisters, Mrs. Sam Profitt, Campton and Mrs. Esther Owens, Ironton, Ohio. The body was brought to the Hearne Funeral Home, Campton, on Wednesday, January 23 where funeral services were conducted Thursday morning with Rev. J.R. Taylor officiating.
