She was born in Hazel Green, (Wolfe County), Kentucky on January 3, 1918 to parents Andrew Charles and Golden Inez (Nickell) Blankenship. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Shelby Charles Davis; daughter, Charlotte Ann Cullen; brothers, Rexal Hughes and Loyal Hughes; and sisters, Pauline Combs, Thelma Hughes, and Laverne Hughes. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Clarence (Patricia) Davis and Robert Clarence Davis; three daughters, Phyllis Jean (Eugene) Beuerlein, Alice Fay (John) Berry, and Rose Marie Breeding; a brother, Paul Hughes; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), with Pastor Dr. Timothy Sheets officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the funera! l home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 1711 S.
