Wolfe County News - April 1965 JOHN CHILDERS DIES APRIL 17 John Manuel Childers, 88, d. April 17, at Little's Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a native of Wolfe County. Survivors are two sons, Ray Childers, Washington Courthouse, Oho, and Ernest Childers, Tampa, Fla., three daughters: Mrs. Velva York, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Emily Schull, West Middletown, Ohio and Mrs. Bethel Bryner, Tampa, Fla.; three brothers, Howard Childers, Jackson; Harlan Childers, Harrison, Ohio, and Walter Childers, Campton, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Moore, Campton. Burial in the Childers Cemetery, Shackelford Funeral Home made the arrangements. Carole
