Wolfe County News - Aug. 1988 Charles Miles Fallen, (Charlie Ed), 55 of Cannel City, d. Aug. 12, 1988, at his residence of injuries received in a tractor accident. Mr. Fallen was born July 24, 1933, at Helechawa, a son of Ora Nickell Fallen of Hazel Green, and the late Drue Arnold Fallen. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church at Cannel City, and a retired lineman for Licking Valley RECC. Survivors other than his mother are his wife, Clara Phipps Fallen of Cannel City; one daughter, Laverne Yales of Ft. Pierece, Florida; one son, Charles Allen Fallen of Cannel City; three grandchildren, Jessica Fallen, Leah Carpenter and Shayne Lindon; two great granddaughters, Cori Lindon and Maggi Carpenter; two sisters, Jean Hatfield of Orlando, Florida and Beulah Hurt of Hazel Green; two brothers, Arnold Fallen of Hazel Green and Bill Fallen of Gillmore. Burial in the Hager Phipps Cemetery, Cannel City, with Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements. Carole
