Wolfe County News- April 1982 DEATH CLAIMS JOHN H. TIBBS John H. Tibbs, 72, Campton d. May 4 at the Morgan county ARH Hospital in West Liberty following a long illness. A native of Wolfe County, he was s/o the late Willie and Lou Nickells Tibbs. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Martha Taulbee Tibbs; two sons, Roy Tibbs of Kettering, Ohio and Willie Tibbs of Dayton, Ohio; five daughters, Elizabeth Luneack of Cincinnati, Naomi Beer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Devona Phillips of Columbus, Ohio, Geneva Pence of Campton, and Joann Hall of Jackson; one sister, Emma Lewis of Berea; 16 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Burial in the Whisman-Taulbee Cemetery at Landsaw under the direction of Porter and Son Funeral Home of Campton. Carole
