I found this on a floppy where I'd saved some Middletown Journal obits from before they stopped archiving them. Norma Lillie A. Terrell GRATIS -- Mrs. Lillie A. Terrell, 85, of Gratis, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 14, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Wolfe County, Ky., on Feb. 4, 1916, a daughter of Logan and Mary Hollon. A skilled seamstress, she loved crocheting. She also enjoyed her garden and flowers. Mrs. Terrell is survived by a son, Howard Terrell of Gratis; a daughter, Robyn Darmer of Aitken, Minn.; two sisters, Dorothy Carroll of Middletown and Jane Habib of Newcastle, Pa.; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Elzira Howard of Middletown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Terrell in 1982; a son, Raymond; a daughter, Beatrice Fugate in 1999; a great-grandson, Elijah in 2001; and three brothers, Hargis, Hagar and Terrill Hollon. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown, with Pastor Roger Green officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
