    3. Hazel Green Herald - June 15, 1905 Bond $5,000 Each Charley Robbins acting as special baliff, passed through here Monday with Letcher Davis, Porter Davis, Dave Maddox, George Dykes and Hazelrigg Crase, of the Dykes faction in the Wilson-Dykes feud. A few hours previous Sheriff Stamper had gone through with R.M. Wilson, Burnam Walters and Bud Patrick. Two others of the Wilson side had gone to Campton by another road. They were Andy Haddix and Jack Walter. The Wilson crowd also embraced attorneys W.B. Lykins and Issac Rose, of West Liberty, and several friends. Both crowds were called to trial Tuesday morning before his honor Pat Howe, and an agreement having been reached by the attorneys on both sides, that all would waive examination and give bond for appearance at next court, this was done in open court. The following on the Wilson side were put under bond. R.M. Wilson, Burnam Walter, Bud Patrick, Jack Walter and Andy Haddix. Their bondsman are S.M. Lykins, B.S. Stamper, Oliver Prater, Ceasar Lindin, Joe Walter and Squire John D. Rose, and the amount of the bond for each man is $5,000. On the Dykes side Letcher Davis, Porter Davis, Dave Maddox, Hazelrigg Crase and George Dykes were put under bond, the amount being the same for each man as that required of the Wilsons. It was readily given and the following persons became their sureties, Floyd Arnett, Charley Robbins, Caesar Linden and Dick Lindon. All or nearly all of the people interested in the case directly passed back Tuesday afternoon late, and our citizens were glad to hear that meantime there had been no demonstration on either side looking to further trouble. It is generally believed that they will do so. Carole
