BRASHEAR OF CALLABOOSE DIES SEPT. 24 Henry Clay Brashear, 73, husband of Junie Spencer, of the Callaboose section of Wolfe County, died suddenly at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at his home from an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Wolfe County and a farmer. Other survivors besides his wife include two sons, Lonnie and Lloyd Brashear, both at home; five daughters, Ruby, Heady, and Vernie Brashear, all at home, Mrs. Katherine Banks of Campton, and Mrs. Vernie Watkins of Lexington; three brothers, Floyd and Courtney Brashear, both of Campton, and Ray Brashear of Florida: three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Banks of Campton, and Mrs. Malvery Young and Mrs. Letha Perry, both of Franklin, Oho; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 at the Harvest Time Tabernacle with Rev. Omer Spencer officiating. Burial was in the Brashear family cemetery.
