    3. Wolfe County News - Aug. 3, 1973 MRS. BRYANT, 76 DIES JULY 25 Hattie Spencer Bryant, 76, widow of the late Myles P. Bryant of Rogers, died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the N.E.H. Nursing Home in Lexington, after a long illness. She was a native of Wolfe County a member of the Rogers Baptist Church, and a rural mail carrier for eighteen years. She was the daughter of the late G.W. and Rebecca Cable Spencer. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mable Johnson of Stanton, Ky., Mrs. Opal Lewis of Rogers, Ky., Mrs. Ruby Elgelbach of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Nora Johnson of Danville, Ky., and Mrs. Dorothy Kotoulas of Campton, Ky.; five sons, Robert and James P. Bryant, both of Rogers, Ky., Myles P. Bryant, Jr., of Middletown, Ohio, Wayne Bryant of Morehead, Ky., and Dale Bryant of Jackson, Ky.; one brother Clell Spencer of Rogers, Ky.; seven sisters, Mrs. Nannie Brewer of Rogers, Ky., Mrs. Myrtle Dozer, Mrs. Alberta Kemper, Mrs. Nora Arnold, Mrs. Price Coates, Mrs. Cinda Carmine and Miss Alma Spencer, all of Lexington, Ky.; 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Rogers Baptist Church with Rev. Grover Craft and Rev. Ramah Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Rogers Cemetery at Rogers.
