CABLE, 86 OF ROUTE 1 DIES William Cable, 86, husband of Cinda Taylor Cable, of Route 1 Campton, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the West Liberty Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Wolfe County, a retired farmer, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Doc and Belle Carroll Cable. Other survivors besides his wife include two sons, Merl Cable, Beloit, Wisc., and Lee Cable, Hillpoint, Wisc.; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Spencer, S-----, Wisc; one brother Greeley cable, Pine Ridge; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Hobbs Shoemaker, Route 2, Beattyville, Mrs. Hattie Hecker, and Ethyl, both of Middletown, Ohio; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Porter and son Funeral Home Chapel. With Rev. Willie Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery.
