    1. Re: [KYWOLFE] John and Rebecca Bowen Rose
    2. Well, Norma! I descend from Robert & Esther (Moore) Rose, too! Esther "Easter" Moore's parents were James Moore and Ellender Hamilton. James Moore was known as the first white settler in Owsley County, KY. I can send you an invitation to the John & Rebekah Rose Family Website for you to peruse, if you'd like. There is information on lots of our allied families, too, including the Moores! Just let me know. Thanks, Gail (Rose) Berish In a message dated 7/10/2007 2:32:41 P.M. Robert and Esther Rose's daughter, Isabella, married James McKinney and their daughter, Esther married Alfred Taylor Gentry and they were my gg-grandparents. I don't have much on the Rose family or the McKinney family. James McKinney is my brick wall!! Norma At 02:18 PM 7/10/2007 -0400, you wrote: >HI-- >John and Rebecca are my 4X great-grandparents.
