Wolfe County News - Sept. 1972 JOHN A. CENTER DIES IN OHIO John A. Center, 62, passed on suddenly at 6 o'clock Saturday morning, Sept. 2, at his home in Parma, Ohio, from a heart attack. He had been retired for some time due to his health condition. He was a former employee of Alcoa Plant of Cleveland, Ohio. He was chief planner, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a veteran of World War II, where he was wounded; a member of Cox Lodge No. 464, Campton, Ky., a 32 nd degree mason; The son of the late John T. Center and Virginia (Center) Spencer of Campton. Survivors include his wife, Gladys, and daughters, Mrs. Lorranine Cabiasino of El Tarlo, Calif., Mrs. Susan Hatch, of Salt Lick, Utah, and Debbie Center, at home; his mother, Virginia (Center) Spencer, two brothers, Orville Center, Campton, and Earl Spencer, Columbus, Ind., four sisters, Fern Hollon, South Lyon Mich., Lucille Hatton, Indianapolis, Ind., Minnie Strunk of Ohio, and Anna Rose, Hazel Green, Ky., a brother, Omer L. Center, deceased; three grandchildren, Kathy, Kim, and ______, of El Torto, Calif. Masonic rites were held at the funeral home Monday night; Sept. 4. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sept. 6, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, West Wood Rd., West Lake, Ohio, Bishop Clayn R. Smith, officiating. Burial was in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Ricio Funeral Home. Relatives attending the funeral from Campton were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Center and daughter, Mrs. Peggy Knack; Virginia Center Spencer; Others were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hollon, South Lyons, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Center, Mt. Sterling. Carole
