Wolfe County News - July 30, 1971 CAMPTON WOMAN PASSES JULY 23 Mrs. Linnie Blankenship, 69, died at her home in Campton, Friday, July 23, after several months illness. She was a native of Wolfe County and a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Sib, one daughter, Mrs. Eula Mae Cox of Campton, four grandchildren, Lois Ann Tyra, Karen Sue Tyra, Dianna and Lawrence Cox, Jr., two brothers, Carl Stamper of Leeco, Talmadge Stamper of Campton, three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Ritchie of Cincinnati, Mrs. Daisy O'Hair and Mrs. Bonnie Halsey, both of Means. Funeral services was conducted Sunday, July 25, at the lower Laurel Baptist Church by Rev. Doyle Thomas and Rev. Oliver Dalton. Burial was in the Trent cemetery with Porter and Son Funeral Home in charge. Carole
