Wolfe County News - April 21, 1972 FORMER CAMPTON RESIDENT DIES IN CLARK COUNTY Hiram Eversole, 90, Winn Avenue, Winchester died at 10 p.m. Sunday at the Clark County Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired farmer, a son of the late Anderson and Mary Deaton Eversole, a native of Lee County and a Baptist. The Eversole family lived at Campton many years before moving to Clark County. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Haggard, Mrs. Carrie Flickinger, Mrs. Vivian Reffitt and Mrs. Zellie Hall, all of Clark County, Mrs. Elizabeth Eldridge, Fayette County and Mrs. Gladys Gumm, Madison County; two sons, Thurman and Charlie Eversole, both of Clark County; 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Elam, Campton, and Miss Ollie Eversole, Wyandott, Okla, and a brother, Jim Eversole, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester, Ky. by Rev. Linville Berryman. Burial was in the Bear Pen Cemetery in Wolfe County. Carole
