Wolfe County News - March 20, 1970 WOLFE NATIVE DIES MARCH 11 IN LEXINGTON Mrs. Vergie Wallace, 75, of 1602 Oakhill Drive, Lexington, died Wednesday, March 11, at Good Samaritan Hospital after a short illness. She was a member of the Macedonian Christian Church, and a native of Wolfe County. Survivors are two sons, Alger C. Wallace, Lexington, and William F. Wallace, Jr., U.S. Air Force in Taiwan; four daughters, Mrs. John Anderson and Mrs. Alvan Green of Lexington, Mrs. J.C. Reaves of Japan, and Mrs. Tom Juett, Wickliff; two brothers, M.R. Lovelace of Campton, and M.S. Lovelace of Arlington, VA; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Stamper, Mrs. John Buchanan, and Mrs. Monna Cable, all of Campton and Mrs. Bernice Crawford, Dayton, Ohio, and 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Kerr Brother Funeral Home, in Lexington. Burial was there in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Carole
