Wolfe County News - April 18, 1969 MRS. RUDD, 85, MAYTOWN, DIES Mrs. Nannie Davis Rudd, 85, of Maytown died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Virgie Maloney, at Maytown. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Born Sept. 17, 1883, at Lee City, she was a daughter of the late Letcher and Nannie Bowlin Davis. She was the widow of the late Harm Rudd. She is survived by three sons, Letcher Rudd of Pomeroyton and Clay and Gordon Rudd, both of Maytown and three daughters, Mrs. Vernie Taulbee and Mrs. Vergie Maloney, both of Maytown and Mrs. Marie Jones of Ezel. Funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Maytown Church by Rev. Glen Lawson. Burial was in the McGuire Cemetery at Maytown, Potter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Carole
