Wolfe County News - Feb. 13, 1970 MRS. KINCAID 85, LEE CO. RESIDENT PASSES MONDAY Mrs. Lucinda Cable Kincaid, 85, died Monday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 a.m. at the Mallory Taylor Hospital, Lagrange, Ky., after a six-month illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Lee County, a member of Kincaid Chapel Christian Church, and had taught school in the Wolfe and Lee County school systems. She served as a member of the Lee County Board of Education for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Kincaid; two sons Steven Kincaid, Clay City, and Joseph D. Kincaid, Smithfield, Ky.; two daughters, Mrs. May Creech, Eminenece, and Mrs. Nettie Spencer, Marion, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. W.W. (Chub) Drake, Hazard, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Feb. 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Kincaid Chapel Church, Rev. Raymond Brewer, Campton officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Carole
