    3. Clay City Times - March 28, 1940 JAMES HOLLON PASSES James Hollon died Thursday afternoon, March 21, at his home at Rosefork, Wolfe county. He had been ill for several months and rapidly grew worse after a severe paralytic stroke Monday, March 18. Burial took place in the Rose Cemetery Friday. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Richard Tolson. Mr. Hollon is survived by his wife; two sons, W.R. Hollon, Middletown, Ohio and Oliver Hollon of Rosefork; five daughters, Mrs. Oscar Taulbee, Waltersville, Mrs. Jesse Blanton, of Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Pearce King, Holton, Ind., Mrs. George Patrick, Lee City, and Mrs. Mort Kiug?King, of Hazard; twenty-one grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. Sam Hollon, of Powell's Valley is one of the brothers. Carole In the personal briefs Oscar Taulbee who is employed at Knoxville, Tenn. attended the funeral of James Hollon at Rosefork last Friday.
