    3. Wolfe County News - June 30, 1972 NATHAN HATTON DIES JUNE 26TH Nathan Hatton, 79, died June 26 at 3:45 a.m. after a six months illness. A native of Wolfe County, he was a lifelong resident of and lived in the Baptist Community. Survivors are his wife, Lillie Chambers Hatton; seven sons, William Tutt Hatton, Campton; Nathan Hatton, Jr., Union, Ky., Grover C. Hatton, A.R. Hatton, and Franklin D. Hatton, Dayton, O., Bruce H. Hatton, Hebron, Ky.; Homer C. Hatton, Dayton, O.; four daughters, Mrs. Nora Ball, Aurora, Ill, Mrs. Nancy Craddock, Dayton, O., Mrs. Cordia Lou Hansford, and Mrs. Clemma H. Pence, Dayton, O.; five brothers, Noah Hatton, Helechawa, Thrasher Hatton, West Liberty, General Laughton Hatton, Dayton O., Corbitt Hatton, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Dewey Hatton, Middletown, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Combs, Middletown, O., and Mrs. Angie Smith, Indianapolis, Ind. Also four stepbrothers, Herburt Harris, Middletown, O.; Beech Banks, Whitesburg, Melvin Banks, Dayton, O.; and Silvester Banks, Winchester, Ky.; one step sister, Lucy Faulkner, Cynthiana, Ky.; 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Campton First Church of God by Rev. Doyle Thomas, and Rev. Floyd Doan. Burial was in the Chambers Cemetery on Baptist Fork of Stillwater. Grandsons were pallbearers. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home. Carole
