Taulbee, 93, of 1525 Old Kentucky #15, Campton, Kentucky died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Wolfe County Health Care Center following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Burl Scott and Isa Ramey Rakes and a retired teacher from the Wolfe County School System. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Church and Wolfe County Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by her son, Darrell Taulbee, Campton, KY; 2 daughters, Carole Sue Collinsworth, Campton, KY, and Anna Jo Spencer, Smith Grove, KY; sisters, Ina Bentley, Ashville, NC, and June Rakes, Richlands, VA; a half brother, L.T. Ashby, Hudson, NC; a half sister, Alice Ashby, of TX; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Campton United Methodist Church by Rev. Ron Barnett and Rev. David Gross with burial following Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. today at Campton United Methodist Church.
