Wolfe County News - Dec. 1971 MRS. ALEXANDER DIES DEC. 13TH AT PINE RIDGE Mrs. Qualia Mae Alexander, 76, died early Monday Dec. 13, at her home at Pine Ridge after a long illness. A native of Wolfe County, she was a member of the Church of God. Survivors are her husband, Sam Alexander; three sons, Harold Alexander, Pine Ridge; Dexter Alexander, Dayton, O., Donald Eugene Alexander, Middletown, O.; four daughters, Mrs. Eunice Roberts, Vine Grove, Ky., Mrs. Pauline Heizer, Middletown, O.; Mrs. Cleta Wireman, Stanton, and Mrs. Golden Bush, Pine Ridge; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one brother, Luther Whisman, Middletown, O.; one sister, Mrs. Stella Boothe, Big Andy Ridge. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 2;00 p.m. at First Church of God at Campton with Rev. Doyal Thomas officiating. Burial was in Evans Cemetery, with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Marvin Alexander, Carroll Amyx, Victor Bryant, Burnham Heizer, Jesse Cecil and Orville Roberts.
