Wolfe County News - July 30, 1971 GEORGE DICKEY BETHANY MAN DIES JULY 24 George Dickey, 79, of Bethany, died at his home Saturday, July 24 after along illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eliza Banks Dickey, three sons, Earl, Weed and David Dickey all of Bethany, three daughters, Mrs. Eunice Taulbee of Campton, Mrs. Annie Maloney of Mary and Mrs. Florence Watts of Michigan, one brother, Robert Dickey of Campton, one sister, Mrs. Belle Banks of Campton, 29 grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren. Funeral was conducted Monday, July 26 at the graveside with Rev. Herman Banks officiating. Burial was in the Dickey cemetery with Porter and son Funeral Home in charge. Carole
